While in college, Nicole found a part-time job in a health and fitness club. She soon began serious weight training with the aspirations to one day compete on a national level. After seven months of heavy training, Nicole managed to take 3rd place in her very first bodybuilding competition. She would take 1st place on her second attempt.

 

Over the next six years, Nicole managed to garner several awards in bodybuilding including, Ms. Universal on three occasions. Along with her close friend Karla Parkes, they had become the faces of female bodybuilding in the 80’s.

 

After three years away from bodybuilding competition, Nicole had maintained her incredible physique. She would soon found herself competing with her best friend Karla once again-Only this time, it was in a professional wrestling ring.

 

Throughout the 90’s, Karla (now working professionally as The Slammer) and Nicole dominated the women’s professional wrestling scene often exchanging the Global Pro Women’s Wrestling World title. In her 20+ years inside the ring, Nicole had decided to call it a career. Not wanting to walk away completely, she began the process of purchasing the GPWW outright.

 

On May 3rd, 2012, Nicole became the official owner of the GPWW choosing to maintain the federation’s home base in Ocean Park, California. Her second company decision was to hire former wrestlers to her board of directors. Her best Karla Maxwell-Parkes was her first hire as co-vice president and head of development and training-while still competing for the GPWW. Next to be hired would be Ocean Park women’s wrestling legend, Ashlyn Celeste as co-vice president and chief financial officer.

 

Within a year under Nicole’s control, GPWW has created a brand new television deal broadcasting GPWW Ocean Park across the United States, Mexico and parts of Europe.
