WEST TEXAS- For most of the GPWW Diva Dolls, health and fitness is a necessity. But for former 2x Southern Impact champion Hardbody Heather, working out is a religion!

We asked Heather if she could share her routine with us and like the ever-loving fan favorite she’s become, she didn’t disappoint.

“I began working out in college while dating a bodybuilder. I was never fat, but I was definitely on the heavier side. I wanted to lose ten pounds for summer so I began cardio weight training. Once I dropped the weight, I noticed how great it felt to be so much stronger than I had ever been. Thankfully I have great genetics so my body was able to distribute muscle tone aesthetically. Once I began sculpting my body, I started entering natural bodybuilding competitions and did surprisingly well.”

HEATHER’S WORKOUT

“I like to structure my weight training in a very organized fashion. I lift four days a week (Monday-Tuesday-Thursday-Friday). Monday’s/Thursday’s are lower body and Tuesday’s/Friday’s are upper body.”

“My favorite body parts to focus on are shoulders, arms, and thighs. I’ve always embraced the fact that I’m a thick Texas gal so I will accentuate my curves as much as possible.”

“At the risk of being punny, my strength as a professional wrestler is in fact my strength!! I don’t possess the quickness of women like Kimiko or Kendra Hawk so I overcome the speed of my opponents with my strength. I’m a natural grappler so my power lends well to my style.”

LEAST FAVORITE EXERCISES

“Lunges!! For whatever reason, I hate lunges. But if you want the booty, ya gotta work it out! I pretty much love weightlifting in general so it’s hard for me to find too many exercises I don’t like. Cardio was something I had to learn to like. Every morning I stretch out before hitting the elliptical machine and/or the treadmill. I then follow it up with a forty-five minute swim before starting my day. I used to be one of those wrestlers that didn’t have good cardio and I paid the price for it. To be a successful Diva Doll, you have to have a proper balance to your fitness. It’s okay if you lean one way or another between lifting and cardio, but if you look at the very best Diva Dolls in the business, you can see they have a good balance between the two.”

THE PAYOFF

“I’m a two-time Southern Impact champion as well as a former tag team champion. The reason for my success is simple; a solid work ethic. I like to think I have a natural talent for the business, but even if that were true, success always comes to those who are willing to work the hardest.”

”I think lifting weights is emotionally therapeutic as well. The day’s where everyone and everything just seems to irk me, I can usually change to a more positive mindset after an hour in the gym. A disciplined attitude along with a proper diet and you too can be a champion.”
